An interesting twist to your everyday waffle. The pecans are a great source of protein.
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- ½ cup canola oil
- ½ cup milk
- ⅔ cup finely chopped pecans
- Syrup and/or fresh fruit
- Preheat waffle iron.
- Combine flour, oil, and milk in bowl. Beat until mixed well.
- Stir in chopped pecans.
- Pour batter into hot waffle iron and bake until grown and crispy.
- Serve with syrup and/or fresh fruit.
